Everyone was wonderful!

Great property. I would have appreciated a few more basic amenities ie) olive oil and a few spices. Otherwise perfect! REPLY: Thank you for your kind review. We have found that the majority of our guests are hesitant to use items that are "leftovers" from a previous guest so we tend to remove those after each guest stay. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have stayed at casa del sol twice, this house is well taken care of. It is in great conditions and it is perfect for our yearly family reunion. The staff is amazing and very communicative, cant wait to be back next year.

The team were very helpful when i first arrived they guided me through my process while i was in the island and they treated me with respect.

My whole family love the property, with the beautiful ocean view i whole definitely recommend this property for those who got a big family like mines.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week at Gecko Loco. It was our first time in Roatan and the staff at Island House were great to work with. The home is located in a quiet area, but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beach was a short, roughly 7-minute walk away. The house is very open, but still has some areas for quiet down time, if needed. There are sleeping areas on each of the three floors, giving guests a little extra privacy. Great service and super friendly!

The house is amazing and comes with a great view! I dont think I could stay anywhere else after the state of bliss I achieved on the deck overlooking the water in the distance while the gentle breeze came through. Fabulous property (that's why we came back a second year). Well stocked and maintained. Worked out perfectly for four couples. Loved having Chef Blackie prepare food at our place and seems she is quite familiar with the property. The pool and outdoor area are amazing and the view! I would suggest a couple of items. There was not an initial adequate supply of toilet paper and paper towels which had to be requested. I understand not overstocking as it is expensive but a little more would have been helpful so we didn't need to bother staff. Again - five star rating for staff and the property. Danny is awesome and responded quickly to a couple minor maintenance issues.

The location for snorkeling is fabulous. Quiet neighbors and great location for a quick drive to restaurants. Finding the property was not easy and was frustrating. For some reason we had trouble with google map app so the link didn't help. Two taxi drivers had not heard of "Lawson's Rock" and could not find the house. My husband and I were driving and got pretty frustrated. We drove by the entrance 3 times back and forth. Our strong recommendation is to provide a pdf map, even handdrawn would be great, with landmarks such as the gas staion, a strip mall or office building. Include distance to the gated community from the gas station, from another landmark, resort, etc. Include photos from the street of the guard staion and houses surrounding the guard station to be seen from the street. We were told to look for blue houses which was not helpful at all; the houses at the street where the guard station is are not blue so this was not helpful. It can be frustrating here with no street names or numbers like most people are used to, but we will use your suggestions to help future guests. Thank you!
